See the Smokies from our "Point Of View" in this charming one-bedroom cabin. Point of View is a perfect place for a honeymoon, anniversary, family vacation, or romantic getaway. Enjoy views of the Great Smoky Mountains and the holiday fireworks from your private deck or while grilling your favorites on the charcoal grill. At night, stargaze from the hot tub and watch the twinkling lights of downtown Gatlinburg. Stay entertained with a multi-cade with all your favorite classics or stream a movie on the flat-screen smart tv.

Sit back and relax in the living room featuring an electric fireplace, a couch (sleeper sofa), a comfy recliner, and a flat screen TV! In the evenings, flip on the TV for a bit of entertainment or cuddle up by the fireplace for a romantic night in the Smokies. Much like Goldilocks; this cabin was like baby bears porridge and chair and bed...just right.
First thing; the property manager is A+. She communicated very well and addressed any questions I had pre-arrival.
Before I talk about the cabin I want to talk about the road leading up to the cabin. Now I know it's been discussed before and concerns sort of 'dismissed' by owner responses; but if you are from a flat state like I am (southern louisiana) this drive up to the cabin is butt clenching. Even after a week of driving up and down it; it still made us nervous. I am sure for those that live in this area or states like this; it's no big deal. While we were there I saw big trash trucks and Uhauls coming up the road and I was shocked. Kuboes to them lol. Thankfully the cabin is located on a very sparsely traveled road and very quiet. We never had to interact with a vehicle coming the opposite way we were on those last few roads before the cabin. If we did; I honestly don't know what we would have done because the roads of the last 3 turns or so are essentially wide enough for one vehicle.
The road is good and smooth; its just narrow with some sharp steep turns. You do not need 4wd.
Cabin: it was wonderful. Very well equipped and clean. We would have liked a second recliner but I'll digress. Bed was comfy and plenty of storage in the room. Bathroom was large and the shower was decent. Water pressure was ok; but expected of a cabin on a mountain/hill. We bought groceries from a grocery store only a few minutes away and ate at the cabin most of the week. Grocery store also has a Starbucks inside for those interested.
Hot tub was awesome. We used it everyday and loved relaxing in it after a day of exploring.
We saw black bears at the cabin virtually everyday. Cabin is a great location to lots of different things without being too close. We loved the privacy. Bear video!

Great little cabin. It is very close to town but yet quiet and peaceful. You do have neighbors but you never hear them. The porch is great for sitting and reading. We even saw a bear run down the road and a few other small creatures. The cabin is in great condition and clean. Loved the big bathroom. The cabin is not cluttered with decorations or furniture. It is nicely furnished and has everything you need in the kitchen. Overall a great cabin and we would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at Point of View. Was located close to Gatlinburg and not too far from main road. The road going up to cabin is steep, but manageable. The view from balcony is great. There was a few cars but felt very private. We were able to see 3 bear cubs on trees right off balcony. Would definitely recommend property.

It would be nice to have a counter/bar height table and chairs on the porch so you could see over the railing for all our bear sightings!

Thus was first trip back to Gatlinburg since 2005. We always stayed in cabins so when I started looking there were so many
choices. I was looking for a newer cabin and found Point of View. Location was better than any we have stayed at. It is very close to downtown and view was perfect, parts of downtown and ski mountain. The cabin still has new smell and very clean, just perfect. We did have best bear siting too. We got a visit one morning from Gatlinburg police officer telling us our car had been host to a bear. I forgot to lock the door and a bear opened it, got on passenger seat and stepped to back seat, at least that is were paw prints were, didn't do any damage except leaving paw prints, we were lucky. Don't forget to lock your doors and don't leave food in vehicle. As I was talking to the officer the bear came back and had 3 cubs. She came up to back deck and we got some great pics. So very memorable stay, highly recommend Point of View, best we have ever stayed at in many trips

Great cabin in a perfect location whether or not you are going to Gatlinburg, PF or the national forest. Well maintained, clean, good mgmt. company and owners. Getting the 1/2 off adult tickets on select attractions is a HUGE plus for me as well. I highly recommend this cabin for your trip to this area. I hope to be back next year for my 3rd year in a row.

The cabin is in the perfect location. It feels very secluded yet it is not more than a 10 minute drive to downtown Gatlinburg. Be careful, the roads are very steep and windy up to the cabin! The cabin was spotless and we had everything we needed. It was also decorated for Christmas which was an extra special touch. We will be back!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!! This cabin is in the perfect location. It feels secluded, but its not far at all from Gatlinburg. We LOVED that the cabin was decorated for Christmas. Hot tub was wonderful and the bed was big. Bathroom was so clean and beautiful. My only tiny complaint is the lights from the electronic boxes in the bedroom. It was hard to sleep with all the blue and green lights.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Point of View. This is a mountain cabin and the drive up proved that. It's steep and has many sharp turns. But it doesn't take long to get used to. The smell of the wood as we entered was fantastic. The cabin is kept very clean with everything you need to get your vacation started.

The view is outstanding, especially at night from the hot tub. But it's during the day when the bear comes out. The morning we left for home we watched him climb down the tree in the yard.

Everything was very comfortable and we both got a good night's sleep in the king sized bed.

It is a very short drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge is just a few miles further. We took advantage of the free attractions offered through Xplorie. Thank you for that.

Matt & April are great hosts who take great care of their guests. Thanks for helping us celebrate our new empty nest.

Beautiful cabin! We had a wonderful stay at your cabin. The cabin is beautiful the king bed was so comfortable and the shower was amazing! We made all are meals in the kitchen and ate on the deck looking out at the beautiful view of the mountains. From the deck you can see The space needle and ober gatlinburg. And when we were sitting on the deck a bear came to visit us! Incredible ! The hot tub was so relaxing very modern clean cabin .

Practically everything about this house was great. Everything is new and clean. Great view of Gatlinburg. Not recommended, but walkable from downtown if you can't get an Uber back (like us). The only downside is that the hot tub didn't seem to ever be able to get above 97F, which is luke warm and was a letdown.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Point of view for 4 nights. The hosts allowed us an earlier check in which was very nice, considering we re traveling for 13hrs. The host continuously checked on us and were available to answer all questions right away. The place was very clean and in a quiet area with great views. The cabin is like a home away from home. You will find all utensil, cookware, and even a grill outside. In the balcony there is a hot tub which was the highlight of our stay. They also have laundry in the cabin which was super nice(just bring your own detergent) the host will update you prior to your stay so just read through everything and you will have a smooth stay and know everything before hand. If i return again to smoky mountains, this is the place i would stay over and over again.
- they also offer many free attraction tickets where they are mostly located in pigeon forge. I would suggest to take advantage off all the free tickets. Definitely worth it.

This was my first real trip to Gatlinburg, and I was very happy with this rental. It was very clean, very private, and had decent views overlooking Gatlinburg and the Smokys.

My biggest criticism is that I wished there were more blinds over the large windows in the living room for more privacy. Another smaller criticism is that the hot tub had small things floating in it. This is probably not something that is too important to everyone.

The best thing that I loved about this property is the bathroom, which had 2 showerheads. My wife and I were able to take a shower together and save time in the morning.

Excellent stay except for the dirty pans left in the cupboard. Mr. Bear made frequent visits to the cabin. Location was convenient to art community and downtown Gatlinburg. Decorated nicely for Christmas. The only thing I wish would change is to make it dog friendly. Unfortunately, we will not be back to this cabin because of that reason. If you want a cozy cabin with a city/mountain view and close to downtown Gatlinburg, this is it.

Our 3 day stay booked through Bear Tracts for the Point of View Cabin was perfect! The cabin was easy to locate near to the main streets of Gatlinburg and we were thrilled to be greeted by Mr. Bear! The cabin was clean, furnished with everything you could possibly need and very tastefully decorated. The Christmas tree was beautiful! We certainly enjoyed the complimentary tickets to Dollywood! Wore ourselves out! As we relaxed in the hot tub, we watched the moon bow down to the majestic mountains of Gatlinburg and slowly disappear as the Space Needle and millions of lights glistened from afar. Customer service was excellent! As we were packing, just happen to glance out the window to see that Mr. Bear came to say bye! Loved everything about this cabin and plan to be back soon. Thank you!

Our stay booked through Bear Tracts for the ‘Point of View’ cabin was perfect! As we were locating the cabin which is very close to the town of Gatlinburg, we were greeted by Mr. Bear! The Point of View cabin is a very nice, clean and very tastefully decorated place to stay. Beautiful Christmas Tree! Had everything you could need…..even complimentary ‘Daily’ tickets to attractions! The view is awesome both day and night. While relaxing in the hot tub, we watched the moon dip down over those beautiful majestic mountains and then disappear….how awesome! Also had a nice view of Gatlinburg’s Space Needle all lit up among all the other sparkling lights glistening through the trees. So peaceful. Mr. Bear also made his appearance to say Bye on our last day. We will be back soon! Thank you kindly for sharing your piece of paradise.

My Wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Bear Tracts. We had a Bear meet us on the road one morning when we headed down to Gatlinburg. Really enjoyed the Hot Tub with the view on those cool nights. We can not wait til we can get back.

Great little cabin in the woods. My husband and I enjoyed the view from the hot tub. Cabin had everything you need and was very clean/updated. Would stay here again!

This cabin is lovely! Very clean, tastefully decorated, and lots of nice touches! My son loved the video game station and the hot tub was great to use after a long day of hiking, and the view from as great!. Having the kitchen with every supply we could need was great for mealtime. Matt and April helped us find our way to the cabin when we got a little lost, they were very helpful and kind! 10/10 would stay again!

Our family loved the Point of View cabin! Everything was clean and perfect. The cabin had everything we needed. The views from the balcony were amazing. It was the perfect spot for my morning and afternoon coffee. The cabin included free passes to various activities which came in handy and saved us money on our trip. I highly recommend this cabin! I will be booking with Bear Tracts in the future!

Thanks Bear Tracts for making our stay in Point of View memorable. The cabin was beautiful, clean and well equipped. The daytime views of the mountains were awesome but the night time view from the hot tub of downtown Gatlinburg was magical. The trek to the cabin was all you could expect for a mountain cabin and became part of the experience not to mention the quiet and just minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, The multicade offered many hours of play for both the kids and the adults and the workstation came in handy when work had to get done. Best part of our stay was on day 2 when a bear walked thru the yard as we watched from the deck. Thank you for the free adult passes to several attractions. They helped take the guess work out of deciding what our plans were for the day. Can't wait to come back.
