3 bedrooms, 2 lofts, 2.5 baths only 10 minutes from the strip, and all of the attractions (Dollywood here we come!) This home is in an upscale neighborhood giving you your own space. Many rentals are stacked side by side giving you no privacy. This is NOT one of those! Arriving at a covered parking area to protect you from the elements. Entering the cabin to find

SOARING Ceilings and over 30’ high windows allow the AMAZING Mountain views to come inside. As soon as you walk into this premium home, the first thing we hear from most guests is “WOW”.

This amazing home features luxury amenities that are rarely found in any rental. Arriving under the covered parking to protect you from the elements and a covered walkway all the way to the door. This home features a HUGE kitchen with ALL the bells! Three wonderfully appointed bedrooms, all with new (Feb/19) top-of-the-line mattresses, with the master bedroom featuring a spa-quality Massage table, private deck access to the outdoor HOT TUB, a gorgeous master bath with a claw foot tub to soak in or enjoy the custom shower with a rain head.

One bedroom has an upstairs loft perfect for the kids which makes an ideal family suite!

Love animals and nature? While walking throughout the home there are many beautiful mounts of DEER, ELK, DUCKS, BEAR, ANTELOPE, and more. Absolutely beautiful displays of wildlife throughout. NOTE: none of the animals were killed by the owners. They were ALL donated or purchased for their own beautiful display ability. Some are quite old in fact.

The central upstairs loft features a warm relaxing atmosphere excellent for comfortable reading ( while looking out over the Mountain Views) There is also a queen sleeper sofa for additional sleeping.

GAMES? Why get out if you don’t want to? Upstairs you will find air hockey, foosball, and a number of board games but BEST of All is the new large 2-player Multi-Cade with 1300 games! Yes, 1300 games. 40” HD monitor arcade with not only all of the classics such as Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Galaga, and Centipede but all of the classic car racing games. It even has the most desirable fighting/ boxing games such as Mortal Combat, Tekken and Street Fighter. With a 2-player setup such as this, the kids will be entertained for hours, giving you time to think about that Massage table.

Need to take your work you? You come here to RELAX, but if you must spend a few hours alone with your work, there is a private office giving you peace and quiet to concentrate.

Like the warmth and feel of a REAL fire? While most rental cabins now come with an electric fireplace with fake flames, our TWO fireplaces are real wood fireplaces. Nothing gives the ambiance of a real wood fire. Did we say TWO? Yes, step outside to the private outdoor sitting area boasting another beautiful wood-burning fireplace. Sit in the upscale furniture and enjoy the fire with a nice glass of wine.

With so much to do, don’t forget to sit in a rocker on the back deck, by the real wood fireplace (or enjoy the hot tub), and watch the sunset over the mountains. It is truly an amazing experience.

Everything was pristine and the place is decorated beautifully with a lot of attention to details. The views are insane and property grounds are very well kept. We spent a wonderful time with the family. Kids enjoyed the play room a lot. Location is close (15 min) to Pigeon Forge.
The only complaint I have is that there is not enough closets hangers for hanging clothes, I think I count less than 10 between all closets.

The pictures on vrbo do no justice. In person is so much better. The cabin is just as amazing as the views. The inside is very inviting and home feeling. The location of the cabin relation to places to go and have fun is perfect 30 minutes but definitely depending on traffic of course. The carport/over hang to pull the vehicle under is great to keep it cool and out of the rain. My kids and I had an amazing time staying at this cabin

Wonderful couldn’t have been better. Views are amazing. The cabin is so much larger in person and the photos don’t do it justice. Would be nice to have more lighting on the side porch (add Edison bulbs??) also in the loft and living room but it’s a minor thing. The oversized car port and connection to the covered porch is a nice bonus. No getting wet to and from cars, especially during unpacking/packing. Highly recommended place to stay.

We loved this cabin. It was a lot bigger than expected. Everything was very clean and the cabin had everything we needed. It’s around 15 minutes to the main area in pigeon forge. Well worth the money. We hope to stay again sometime.

It was a great stay. We absolutely loved the cabin and the views. It was pretty spacious and had enough room for 8 people. We will definitely consider to return. Kitchen was also well furnished with pots and pans, cutting board, toaster, grinder, dishwasher pods, detergent pods, dishwashing liquid, scrubber. We had to buy the wood for the fireplace which was fine. Overall it was a 5 star stay. It was quiet and peaceful.

The property description as far as the location and layout were accurate.

We used the hot tub and it was nice, although it is not under a covered porch which is a disadvantage when it is raining as it was while we were there.

One huge disappointment was that the arcade game shown in the pictures did not work properly and that was one big reason we chose this cabin so that was quite a disappointment for the grandkids. We contacted Maintenance, however, they could not service it until on Monday and we checked out on Sunday. We have some friends that stayed at this cabin a few weeks prior in November and the arcade game did not work for them either which unfortunately we did not know until after we checked in.

The bed in the master bedroom is beautiful, however, we were quite surprised when we got there and there were steps on each side of the bed that have to be used to climb into the bed - it is VERY high off of the floor. Those steps are not shown in the pictures on the web site. I have bursitis in my hips and a bad knee, so we would not have chosen this cabin if we were aware of there being steps that have to be used to get into the bed at the time of booking.

The bedding upstairs is advertised as Queen size beds. We did not measure them, but feel like at least one of those is actually just a Full size bed.

The cabin is beautiful, however, lighting it is very dark and not well lit at all.

We had such a WONDERFUl experience at the Hackberry Lodge. The views are truly breathtaking- better than I imagined. Very close to everything you may need to do during your visit to the Smokey's while also being tucked away from the business. We absolutely plan on returning next year!

We absolutely loved our stay at Hackberry Lodge. The lodge was beautiful and very clean and supplied with everything we could have needed. The location was ideal as we were close enough to Dollywood, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg but not in the middle of all the crowds. The views are spectacular and the atmosphere is so peaceful. We had a wonderful stay at Bear Tracts cabin! Upon arrival, the cabin was clean and had everything needed for our week. Our kids loved the game room and hot tub. The cabin is close to attractions and grocery stores, yet feels secluded when sitting on the deck/porch with beautiful views. The hosts were prompt and attentive when he messaged them, which was greatly appreciated. Would definitely stay here again!

This was my 2nd time staying in this cabin and I would definitely stay there again. It's convenient to town, super-clean, well stocked, has beautiful views, comfy beds, and great wifi (for those that need to do a little work on their visit). The house was beautiful, breathtaking views, our family had a great time. The only thing I would mention is that the house is very loud, meaning, when you walk or talk everyone hears you, walls are paper thin and floors creak when walking (hard when folks are trying to sleep in). Overall we had a great time, would highly recommend!

Amazing cabin! My husband and I have stayed in many cabins in the area and this is by far our favorite. We loved everything about it. The outdoor fireplace is where we spent most of our time. We will definitely be back. The only suggestion I have is placing a bath mat in front of the Master bathroom soaking tub. The tile is a bit slippery when wet. Thanks so much for a great last minute getaway!

Pros: Beautiful and very clean cabin. Very private, with amazing views!! Just like the photos. What you see, is what you get. The outside fireplace is great for chilly sunsets in the Smokies. The kitchen is gorgeous and perfect for family meals all together. The living room is comfortable (although the couches and carpet have seen better days). The Alexa is also a nice touch!

Cons:
- The house has no isolation in terms of sound. What you do in the Master Bedroom is heard loud and clear in the bedroom upstairs. If you watch a movie in the living room, all the other rooms will hear as well. If you are looking for a romantic getaway with friends or your kids, this isn't the place. If you have kids that sleep light and go to bed early, this is not the cabin for you.
- I would just bring extra blankets if you get cold at night because the ones on the bed are not thick enough but that is personal.
- Be very careful in winter conditions as those spectacular views come because the cabin is on top of the mountain, so you can expect some steep climbs with your car.

Walking in the front door, you get the perfect view. So peaceful and calming. Great distance to all the fun things. We eneded up needing to come a day early to get ahead of a snow storm. The management company were wonderful and so helpful!

We loved this cabin- it by far our favorite ever. The decor is so beautiful, the beds are extra comfortable, and the view is amazing! The outdoor fireplace is so nice. The hot tub was hot right when we got there. It is a little steep driving up so keep that in mind during icy seasons. We will definitely stay again!

We loved this cabin- it by far our favorite ever. The decor is so beautiful, the beds are extra comfortable, and the view is amazing! The outdoor fireplace is so nice. The hot tub was hot right when we got there. It is a little steep driving up so keep that in mind during icy seasons. We will definitely stay again!

Hacksberry Lodge exceeded our expectations! We loved every second of our fall break in the mountains. Hiking, Dollywood, great restaurants all within a very short drive. Accommodations were excellent with plenty of extra towels for the hot tub! Views for days! Would highly recommend this cabin!

The pictures of Hackberry Lodge don’t do it justice. The cabin is gorgeous, spacious and the immaculately clean. The views were outstanding! Dollywood, the Stampede and other areas to visit and sightsee were only a short drive away.
Management continuously gave updates from initial booking and throughout our stay. I can’t say enough about how efficient they were.

We stay in the Smokies several times a year and have rented many different cabins over the years. Hackberry Lodge ranks as our favorite! The views were amazing—photos do not do it justice! The cabin was beautiful, even better than photos can capture. It was the perfect place to spend family time and rest after long days. The location is perfect, just far enough from the strip that you are away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to groceries, restaurants and gas when needed. This is our second time booking this year with April and Matt at Beartracts and their service is top notch! We will continue to look to them first for our rental needs when we visit the area. Would give both Hackberry Lodge and Beartracts more than 5 stars if able!!

We had the most amazing Easter weekend in your beautiful cabin. Everything exceeded our expectations! The views from the deck were stunning and the cabin was clean and cozy. We experienced all your property had to offer: utilized both indoor/outdoor fireplaces, hot-tubbing while watching gorgeous sunsets, outdoor grilling, fun game room competitions, family movie night and even an adventurous Easter Egg hunt! We made beautiful memories that will last a lifetime, and we will definitely rent your cabin again. We also loved the location. It is a nice balance between somewhat secluded mountain living with close proximity to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg.

Amazingly Beautiful views and beautiful cabin! We loved the openness inside and the large deck area outside. The kids loved the arcade games and cooking s’mores. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed. Everything was very clean. I didn’t much care for the drive up, but we are not used to mountains or hills of any sort lol however, the drive into town wasn’t long or difficult. We wished it would have snowed while we were there, but hopefully we’ll catch it some other time. The loft area may be difficult for younger children to get up into but it is larger than I thought it would be. My 5 year old HAD to sleep up there once they “discovered” it and he did well climbing up and down. The Christmas decorations were beautiful as well =) This was a wonderful place to stay and spend time with family.

Love cabin. Here with another couple. Cabin is awesome with beautiful views. Love the wood burning fireplaces. We hung out at cabin the entire trip. Snowed one night didn’t think views could get more beautiful but they did. Would book it again.

The stay here was everything we imagined and more! The cabin is just as pictured and the views are absolutely stunning. Everything was extremely clean and put together nicely. We felt isolated enough but also close enough to all the fun in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg! We will definitely be back again for another stay.

We had an amazing stay! The views at the cabin are unbeatable and stunning. The cabin is also close to all of the attractions we visited - Dollywood, the Titanic Museum, Hatfield and McCoy, Dolly Partons Stampede, and the Island of Pigeon Forge. This was an unforgettable vacation! We hope to be back very soon, and plan to return to Hackberry Lodge when we do. If you are on the fence, dont be! This is the perfect cabin and Matt is so very helpful! You wont regret your stay here!

We had a wonderful experience. Everything was nothing short of amazing. The cabin was clean, spacious, decorated nicely. Mountain Views on the the wrap around balcony was spectacular. Everything was immaculate! Indoor and outdoor fireplace helped make the stay even cozier. The owners were attentive and answered all questions in a timely manner. Thank you for the perfect getaway!!

We spent 5 nights at Hackberry Lodge over New Years and LOVED it! It was the perfect location and layout for our family of six. We enjoyed everything it had to offer that was conducive to the beautiful wintry weather! The view is OUTSTANDING and I could just stare out the kitchen windows all day. We spent a bit of time in Gatlinburg, but mostly stayed in the cabin. We built a 2000-piece puzzle, decorated gingerbread houses, baked goodies in the gorgeous and spacious kitchen, played games, did family devotionals, relaxed in the hot tub, sat by the outdoor fireplace, and soaked in the big master bath tub! What a terrific vacation! Matt is an incredibly helpful host! He went out of his way multiple times to make our visit the absolute best it could be. He was very communicative and cared very much for the quality of our stay. I would highly recommend staying in any of his properties, and most certainly recommend Hackberry Lodge!!

This was our first time staying in a cabin. The owners, Matt and April, have done such a wonderful job with the decor and making you feel at home during your stay. They were very helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had. The cabin was very clean and well maintained. My kids loved the game room! The view is absolutely breathtaking! We go to the mountains and stay at a VRBO cabin almost every year. This was by far the best place we have ever stayed in. The house is awesome, the outdoor space has the best views.

Our family had a fantastic time at this very high-end cabin. First, the furnishings were wonderful and clean. The leather sofas near the indoor wood fireplace were a fantastic way to lounge on a cold day. The mattresses were very high quality, something you would expect at home. The vaulted ceiling was amazing, and the cabin had plenty of games for our children. The dishes and kitchenware were adequate and the appliances were in good condition. There is a massive granite kitchen island which was a plus since there were six of us. To top it all off, there is an outdoor wood fireplace which is rare to find. I would recommend this to any family looking for a special place to get away and enjoy some upscale amenities. As for the process, it was very quick and straight-forward. The management team is very responsive and friendly. 5/5 and well deserved.

Hackberry Lodge was a comfortable, wonderful place to get away to the mountains for a few days. The property was clean and homey when we arrived with all the lights on and a Christmas tree decorated. Location was great, close to Pigeon Forge and convenient to the National Pal but far enough away to be quiet. The property manager was super helpful and communicated with us through their app as well as through email and text to tell us what to expect, and even responded to questions quickly and helpfully. Can’t recommend enough.

We loved our stay at Hackberry Lodge! Our family was looking to spend a few days relaxing and looking at the mountains and this cabin provided a great space to do that. The kitchen is beautiful and well stocked - it was one of our favorite hangout areas. We had a problem with the upstairs video game but Matt responded very quickly to get it taken care of. There are other cabins that are fairly nearby but that did not prove a problem at all. It was quiet and lovely on the mountain. We hope to stay again someday!
