Welcome to “Altitude Adjustment”! Located at the end of a quiet Cul-de-sac street with plenty of parking and unlimited fun. Enjoy great views of Gatlinburg and the smoky mountains while soaking in the hot tub. You can also enjoy a sunrise while sipping your morning coffee. Don't be surprised if you see bears at this location. They visit us often!

Kitchen and dining:
As with the rest of this beautiful cabin, the kitchen features lovely golden hardwood floors and under-counter lighting. The sage-colored cabinetry evokes the natural beauty that surrounds the cabin as far as the eye can see. The sink is in front of the windows, so even in here, you can keep your eye on the natural wonder that awaits you outdoors. Granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and fully stocked supplies ensure that even while you are in the mountains, you have every modern convenience.
Meals are a true joy in the Altitude Adjustment. Up to six can gather around the farmhouse table in a dining nook surrounded by windows. Your family can chat, laugh, and pass food around, as you watch for local wildlife. Nearby, a wooden block island can seat four more beneath barn lights, making your total seating space ten. This is how family meals were meant to be eaten—together! Connect after a day of sightseeing or hiking, and debate over what the best part of the day was.

Living Room:
When you step into the living room, you'll quickly understand why Altitude Adjustment is one of our most popular cabins. With the beautiful stone fireplace, wall-to-wall picture windows, white wooden ceilings, and rich leather furniture that is as soft as butter, this living room is only the beginning of your airy mountain retreat. As you explore the rest of your home away from home, you'll soon see that every room in this cabin has majestic views that bring the Smoky Mountains indoors to you. No detail has been overlooked, from the flat-screen TV or the door that is waiting to take you to the outside deck.

A second living room on the lower level. A 55-inch TV with streaming capabilities awaits you, complete with surround sound and Blu-ray. Right off this fun area, you'll find a Rec Room complete with a pool table for friendly family tournaments, and a wet bar with a mini-fridge. There is also a queen sleeper sofa for additional sleeping space.

The view from our chalet was top notch. The hot tube was wonderful, the jacuzzi tube was very relaxing, and it was all in all a cozy place. We saw lots of wildlife and mountain views.

Bear Tracts is very helpful and this cabin is bigger inside than expected. Very nice and cozy. The view is really special. We saw several bears, too. It isn't far from downtown Gatlinburg which is great. I think we would like to come back in the springtime. Thank you for the nice stay and the very nice accommodation, Bear Tracts. This was a great place to enjoy the view every morning after waking up. I wish I lived in a place like this. You are very blessed in Tennessee.

This cabin was perfect for our family vacation. With four king suites, there was plenty of space for our group of eight. The cabin itself was very spacious. And the VIEW, absolutely stunning ��. The road up to the cabin can be a little scary, but once you travel a couple of times, you get used to it. We had the best time staying at Altitude Adjustment. The best part of our stay for me, was the BEARS. We had daily visits from at least five different ones. It was amazing. The location was great and easily accessible to everything. The cabin was clean and Matt and April were great. We will definitely stay here again!

Fantastic view! Very nice home. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds and rooms. Bears were very entertaining. Safe because balconies are too high for bears to climb up on, unlike the neighbors. Roads up and down are a little unnerving if you are not used to driving in the mountains. Pool table was fun. Great family vacation.

Wed book this place again just for the view :) by far our favorite part of vacation was coffee with a view! We saw around 10 bears!! Great proximity to the National park and downtown. You are WAY up in the mountain so definitely recommend 4 wheel drive.

Our only recommendation would be that the cabin provided 1 pack of dish detergent for each day of your stay. The people before us clearly did not use detergent when washing the dishes. Truly a small thing that did not majorly impact our trip, but would help prevent that from happening.

When we arrived the property was super clean and well stocked with all necessary kitchen, bathroom, and grilling supplies (more than the minimum that was promised when we booked the place).

Immediately upon walking in we were treated to a stunning view from the living room. Each room was well made with large, comfortable beds. Two of the bathrooms have jacuzzi bathtubs in addition to the large hot tub on the porch.

We relaxed, made massive meals, enjoyed the views, and slept so well in this “cabin” (it’s fully a nice house), with plenty of room for 10 people. It was cozy but not at all cramped, with enough space for people to have private time and communal time.

At one point the power in most of Gatlinburg went out due to storms and the management company was super responsive and helpful, and the power came back after just a couple hours (considering the severity of the storms we were all surprised and thought the power would be out longer).

The property is close to Gatlinburg and the national park, so we had easy access to all the activities.

10/10! Perfect stay, I’ll be back!

I was so impressed by how comfortable this cabin is and I can’t wait to return. The drive there is interesting as you keep going higher up the mountain and then when you arrive at the cabin the cabin itself hides the view until you step inside… and it is AMAZING to view the mountains from the big window or sit on the porch. We couldn’t decide if we liked the view during the day or at night better. Both are amazing! The kitchen is nice and the living area has plenty of room. We loved the dining area also for family dinner. We love using Bear Tracts for vacations and we plan to use this cabin again!!

The kids and I thoroughly enjoyed the cabin and all of its views! After daily hikes in the Great Smoky Mountains, we'd return to enjoy the hot tub and play games. Fabulous time!
