Winterfest, a transformative discipleship event, began modestly over 39 years ago with just a handful of youth groups gathering at the Park Vista Hotel in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Since then, it has evolved into a global spiritual phenomenon, spanning 23 locations worldwide each year. Originally inspired as a momentous spiritual gathering in the mountains, it grew into a significant movement. In 2000, a significant decision was made to relocate to the Thompson Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tennessee, marking a new chapter in the event's history.

Recently, the Youth & Discipleship family has decided to return to its origins in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, continuing the tradition of empowering and inspiring young people in their faith journey. Smoky Mountain Winterfest has been a catalyst for profound spiritual experiences, with attendees sharing impactful moments of salvation, spiritual awakening, and personal transformation.

This event, which is an intense worship and spiritual conference for students, is organized by the Church of God Youth & Discipleship Department. This year, we are thrilled to host Winterfest at the scenic LeConte Center, where we anticipate another extraordinary gathering of faith, worship, and personal growth.
